about

Essentially Blizzard is about growing up too quickly then sometimes missing out on the most important things in life.

The dream of the open road, bringing your creations to the world one town at a time. Is there such thing as too young and green? Does the instability of fragile roads bring instability elsewhere?

lyrics

Blizzard

Girl from the city
Quit school early
For life on the road
To try make something
She never came home
She was never alone

Grew up with folk
Much older than her age
Missed out her youth
To gig on the big stage
She never came home
She wasn’t full grown

She was caught in a blizzard that shadowed her soul
But heard a bird singing something sweet
Lay her head right here and shared her dream
There was something kind of bold beneath the fire and coals
Of a girl buying back belief
She never came home

Unhinged the mother
Made her decisions
Lost her brother
Set out on a mission
Cover was blown
They never came home

Struggled to find
A man that could take it
Pent up with fear
To lose such a great thing
She never found home
She was always alone

She was caught in a blizzard that shadowed her soul
But heard a bird singing something sweet
Lay her head right here and shared her dream
There was something kind of bold beneath the fire and coals
Of a girl buying back belief
She never came home
She was never alone

She had the time of her life
Chasing summers back and forth again
Running from city to town
To show the globe who she is
Now just looking for love
With all the loving world to spend
On an authentic smile
But a careful smile

about

Jimmi Nolan London, UK

Adding to the unassuming voice of Nick Mulvey with the howling swagger of Paolo Nutini, Nolan’s blend of dynamic indy folk initially soothes then intoxifys with a finish of a Glen Hansard-esque knock out.

Jimmi is Australian borm, and since moving to the London he
has proven his ability to seamlessly connect his guitar and powerful voice with the audiences throughout the UK and Europe.
